MythBusted! Pt 1

I wanted to write this for a long long time. But I just don't know how to start.

When I bought the PC GAMER Magazine and I flipped the pages.

I was like, "Aik, how coincidence can you get?"

Well, I decided. If you can't beat them, join them. At least you are on the winner's team. Scrapped the dignity. Hero dies fast.

I highly recommend before you read my post. You must have.
1. Imagination.
2. Gamer's knowledge.( recommended.)
3. Otak.( Minimum requirement.)

This post is for the laugh don't need to get serious.

Myth #1

Rocket Jumping.
Game: Quake 3.

Name says it all. For the one that never played Quake 3 before. It's ok. You will get the message.
Firing rockets to the ground allows you to fly to the air with a bit deduction on the health bar. Hey, sweet escape. Except for the falling part which it hurts even more.

Well in real life. Firing a rocket under your feet is not cute. You will fly, but maybe losing some limbs and not to mention the syrup juices and the thing's you ate for breakfast.

More to say? Busted.

Myth#2

Cloaking
Game: Crysis

Now you see me now you don't. The ability to bend light around your surroundings. No light = no vision. Harry Potter has it why not Crysis? For the one that are lost, it's the power to turn invisible at will.

It's the matter of time. You can make objects invisible by "Chroma Keying". Wiki it. Very hard to explain. And the Japanese has a reflective cloak. Not quite there yet. But it's the big first step. Don't argue with it please, and it is not someone that is standing in front of the projector. LoL.

Myth: ?Pass it's just a matter of time.

Myth#3

Bullet Time
Games: Max Payne, FEAR, The Matrix.

If this really can be done by human reflexes. This mean you can take on 1000 strong men while eating your breakfast and reading a newspaper.

It enhance the human reflex to Godly extent. You can dodge bullets, you see everything in Slow-mo.
In other words you are a mini-version of Hiro Nakamura. You are not going faster, It's just your surroundings are getting slower and you can act accordingly after it happens. That's why it's a mini version.

Myth: No myth. Impossible. Unless scientist created a drug that can enhance human reflexes by X10000000. Fail. Still entertaining though.

Myth#4

HUD (Head-Up Display)
Game: Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon AW 2.

Ever watch Robocop? Or Ironman? It's a display that list your status, heartbeat, Number of bullets left, gun status and etc.

It goes something like this: XD

Geng- leh. So, will it exist? The answer is Yes.

This is on an infantry unit point of view. Even a minimap was displayed on the screen. How can you not love this game?

This is on a real Jet fighter point of view.
Still far away, but it's very close. 10 more years and voila. Yeah, no more mission briefing for hours XD.

Myth: Been here, Done that.

Myth# 5

Zombie-desu
Game: Bio Hazard( Resident Evil )

So what is the definition of zombie?
If you are from the 2000's it goes like. An individual that consumes/inject/taken any drugs or medication that leads to a senseless being that consumed and devoured flesh. They can run, they can jump and they can throw axes at you. Or maybe firing a machine gun.

If you are like me from the 90's. A dead man walking around like a drunkard and consumes flesh. Apa ni sounds like an evolution of the dead?

Oh, and both of them are infectious according to legend.
So, is it possible that scientist created a drug and turn us into zombies?
The answer is no.
Simple theory if your brain is dead, senses and movements are dead. Although your motors are still working. Take a brain-patient for an example. If there really is such drug that allow us turning into zombie, brain-dead patients will be walking around chewing us. There will be only Chaos and Fun. XD

Myth: Fail and busted. Don't need proves for this even you can figure it out.

I will post up as soon as possible. XD gotta head for lunch. Wish me all the best XD.
