Call Of Duty: World at War. Nazi and Japs really ain't enough!

As expected from the long awaited COD 5. It is really worth upgrading the card for.
There is no much different compared to the last COD. Where concrete buildings are now jungles and building rubble. Cut the crap, now I will go straight into the gameplay.
Tyreach applied the Look East Policy by adding Japs into the game.

Gameplay

Like the previous COD series, it still allows you to play few great factions of World War II.
You play Pvt. Miller from the Marines and Pvt. Dimitri Petrenko from the Soviet Union.
You'll start off with the US, which you are a sheep waiting to be slaughter until your comrades save your sorry ass.

Heads down.

The first thing you notice when you shoot the A.I, you will see their limbs flying all over. So, if you see a Japanese hopping around with one leg. It's normal.
Their Banzai charge can be repelled if you are quick enough to press V.
For the Marines' Campaign, I loved it in a good way and the bad way.

The good, the mission is very enjoyable. The Japs are surprisingly sneaky and coward.
They hide behind the grasses and suddenly BANZAI! , shooting you from tree top, and springing out from spider traps. It brings new sensation for the players.

Ready for Banzai Charge

The bad, I died infinite times. Usually, they took me by surprise from the back with their bayonets + Banzai Charge and pineapple bombardment if I tend to take cover too long.

Resulting, a very tense and frustrating gameplay moments on each campaign. Playing over and over again in the same scene, hearing the same line repetitively. Gosh!

You see what I mean?!

Two new weapons are added into the game, the flamethrower and the bayonets. The bayonets allows you stab the enemy in a more greater range compared to the knife. The flamethrower will burn your enemies and spreads fire all over the place. It tends to overheat too fast, a little bit too fast. MG-42 tends to overheats too. Which make the game even more realistic yet exciting.

The Marines' campaign offer a very tense sensation throughout the mission. You will be taken by surprise so many times until you are immune to it. While the Soviet Union campaign is very straightforward compared to the Marines.

For the Soviet mission, the Germans are far more easier than the Japanese. They are more straightforward and always tend to be far more less aggressive. Well, at least they don't charge at you.

Settings are mostly building and villages compared to the Marines, which are jungles and caves.
Woohoo! An urban warfare and a guerrilla warfare in one package.
Rejoice, you can ride tanks and play as a gunner in an military aircraft to shoot down zero fighters.

Fear not players, weapons are very nicely tune and thousands of variety to choose from.
Although I still shoot my comrades at the back to take some ammo. Hehe.

The finest masterpiece ever created in any COD series is the new level in this game called Nazi Zombies.

Nazis that you shot down from the game has come to live again and this time... they are not human. Tyreach developer's team manage to survive until stage 23.
LAN with four of your friends and try it out in the Coop mode.

URA!!!!

The gameplay is simple, survive with your four friends inside the house AS LONG AS YOU CAN. Earn as many points as you can by killing every zombie you see. Then, buy more powerful guns, barricade the windows, and unlock new areas around the house by the point you've earned. The zombie increase by numbers and gets more faster after each stage. Death is inevitable, just put up a hell of a fight.

I manage to get to stage 9 only by myself. =_=.

Multiplayer.

Nothing much has change compared to the last year Modern Warfare.
Challeges are still there, it is still very engaging and it is still a very deadly-fast-paced-game.
Asides from helicopter you will now get a group of attack dogs and tanks.
You still have addictive level up system and the hardest Challenge system in the game.
In other words, it is just COD 4, but with WWII guns and settings.
Ps. You can use Japs in MP gameplay.

Conclusion

The game delivers a very good SinglePlayer Campaign and as well as Multiplayer.
It still has outstanding graphics and not to mention that the voice casting is superbly done.
Bonus level are even more fun to play with friends.
Although this series does not differ from most of the COD predecessors. It is still a game to be own.
This game won the hearts of the players by a 9/10.
