Of Guns and Weapons

After thousands of thoughts and ideas.
I have came out with a list of most powerful weapon I have ever encounter in a game.

Weapon are the most important aspect in any FPS games.
Crushing endless wave of enemies make you feel bloody good as if you are god.
In other words, the better the killing efficiency, the better the weapon gets.

So here is the list. Let the mayhem begins!.



Gears of War series.
The Lancer.

The Lancer is an automatic machine gun equipped with a Chainsaw.
It delivers a bloody yet nasty kill by chopping your enemies into bits with the chainsaw.
Not to mention, it owns in both medium range and short range encounters.
This is definitely one of the best weapon in terms of firepower and killing efficiency.
The let down is the ammo drains so fast when you are blind firing.
Accuracy of this weapon is not in the top-notch. If your enemies are on a further range it will be difficult to get a clear shot to the head or body.

I gave this mac-chain-gun a 7/10.

Half-life
Machine Gun

Used by me almost all the time when I play Half-life . This is not the gun you wanted to mess with.
Fast-fire rate, accurate shots and a very very deadly secondary weapon.
The secondary click, launches a grenade upon touch. Watch your enemies explodes into shreds. Nothing is better than taking out 3 to 4 enemies in 1 helluva shot.
Nothing is this simple.
The downside for this gun? 50 ammo per clip and 5 little grenades launcher for the win.
But, to kill in long range is still a pain. Not to mention, the firing rate is so fast that 50 ammo means nothing. You will be finding yourself reloading all the time.

But still it deserves an epic 8.5/10




Serious Sam.
The SBC Cannon.

Anyone that plays Sam sure will have seen this weapon. Chased by endless waves of foes?
Fear not. Hold the fire button longer and release it towards them with this baby.
Killing upon impact, leaving bones and meats all over. And then, it explodes. Killing all the nearby enemies.
This is a mini WMD. Effective both in Melee and long range.
The only let down of it is, it needs to be charged for few seconds before unleashing it's maximum potential. But, it is still a job well done. Never give us too much power.

The Cannon owns a respective 9/10.


CRYSIS
The Nanosuit.

Maximum Strength,Speed,Armor and Cloaking.
Strength grants you lesser recoil, higher jump and throws enemies for few feet away. Remember kids the second star to the right. XD
Believe me, it saves my arse alot of times from dire situation.
Armor mode, fortifies the suit's defense that allows you to take alot of shots without hurting.
The suits passively heals you and provide data about your missions, health status and weapons. Without the suit, you are just basically another soldier.
The only let down is the energy it consumes. Well, it is better than running towards the forest naked while facing an army of Koreans and Aliens.
Do I really need to do review on Cloaking? Geez. Oh yeah, your weapon cloaks as well. Doesn't it pawns?

10/10. Final decision. You will not be better off without the suit. Unless you are Rambo equiped with two MG-42s in both hands on steroids. Die* RATATATATATATATATA


Half-life 2
Gravity Gun

This gun wins in both originality and creativity.
I love this gun when it turns into the Super version. It makes you like walking killing machine that suck soldiers and throw them miles away.
Flipping cars, carrying explosive barrels, sucking unreachable weapons and solving puzzles.
Half-Life 2 uber physics engine unleashes this weapon to maximum potential anytime.
So?What is the score?
11/10.
It is basically over the par, why?
It brings the new meaning of FPS gaming. Name me a weapon that uses the surrounding against your enemies. None, I can assure. It can turn anything into a weapon. You can even kill something with bricks for god sake.
And no Ammo or energy requires.


Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
Knife ( Writer's speciality.)

OMFGZ a Ninja. Yes, a 1 hit kill for anything that comes in the way. Except for tanks.
It is more powerful than the chainsaw from Doom 3 and Serious Sam.
This is one of my favorite weapons in COD 4.
Well, I always have more than 5 knife kills average in 5 - 10 minutes games. Sprint, dodge bullets, and knife is one of my greatest combo in the game. XD. Not to brag, am I right Ah Yia? lol.
Although it is a pwnage weapon. It is very risky actually.
The after swing animation will leave your character unarmed for at least 1 second.
This is a huge disadvantage. I died most of the times if I miss my target.
Well since no much player can master it. This weapon only rate 7/10.
